Census Jobs

From a Mason Mill Road neighbor who worked the last census: "Every 10 years a census of the U.S. population is conducted. The results determine how federal funds are spent in our community as well as our representation in congress. Conducting the census is a huge undertaking and thousands of workers are needed for temporary positions to conduct the 2010 Census this spring. These temporary jobs provide good pay, paid training & are generally close to home.

Update from U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson

News From Congressman Hank Johnson, 4th District of Georgia ("Proudly Serving DeKalb, Rockdale, and Gwinnett Counties"): Dear Friends, I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving with friends and loved ones. We all give thanks for the blessings of this great country. I'm still busy in Washington, where the Congress is dealing with Afghanistan, health care and committee work. We will be in session most of the month of December.
