As many of you have probably heard, Medlock Elementary has been placed on a list for schools that the DeKalb County School Board is considering for closure this next year. Please read the following bulletin and attend this community-wide meeting Thursday evening to learn more and show your support for our neighborhood school.

MANA Holiday Gathering and Community Meeting

From MANA: Monday, December 6, 2010, 7pm at North Decatur Presbyterian Church (corner of Scott Blvd/Medlock). Please plan to attend the LAST all-community meeting we will hold this year. We encourage all members to mark their calendars and come out to offer friends and neighbors holiday wishes and share treats (feel free to bring your favorite cookies or other holiday treats to share). This meeting will also provide an OPEN FORUM of community discussion and collaboration as well as the elections for the MANA 2011 Board of Directors.

Multi-Family Yard Sale on Hunting Valley Drive

From MANA: Multiple families will be having a yard sale at the far end of Hunting Valley Drive (near North Hills Drive), which is off Willivee near North Druid Hills.  There will be furniture, housewares and accessories, clothes, books, DVDs, office supplies, and much more (many things still new in the box!).  Excellent opportunity to pick up some holiday gifts at a fantastic price!

MANA's 1st Neighborhood Yard Sale

10/02/2010 - 9:00am - 2:00pm

From the Medlock Area Neighborhood Association:  Medlock is having a neighborhood-wide yard sale on Saturday from 9 - 2.  There will be 16 locations with multiple families participating at some locations.  Find a map to the participating homes at http://www.medlockpark.org and there will be signs and balloons around to point you in the right direction.  Come out and find some great bargains and meet your Medlock Park neighbors!
