Georgia Power says to wait 24 hours before reporting outages: "Following a severe storm with widespread power interruptions, customers should wait a reasonable amount of time before calling to report an outage. There's no need to call within the first 24 to 48 hours. The company knows where the power is out because its automated system alerts a technician when a line goes off. As the restoration progresses, Georgia Power will announce through the media if residents in specific areas should call in if they're still without power."http://www.georgiapower.com/storm/pofaq.asp#q4

As of 9:30 a.m. the site indicates that the outage on N Superior was known, a crew dispatched, but no estimated time to restoration of power.
