Beagle Puppy Found

Great News !!! The missing beagle puppy is back home. She's home resting after a traumatic night tangled in someone's back yard. Jennifer got a call from a woman on N. Superior who found her in her back yard, with her leash caught on the wooden mulch bin. Apparently she had been there all night and all day, too scared to utter a peep. The woman was working in her yard and went to the back to put something in her mulch pile and found her there. She had seen the email and called Jennifer. So read your CHCA emails !!!

Beagle on the Run

Hi - I'm trying to get the word out around the neighborhood about a missing tiny 15 lb. Beagle named Bonnie. We live at 788 Reckle Road. She is tri-colored and is wearing a turqoise & purple collar with a purple retractable leash attached. She pulled the leash out of my husband's hand last night and took off a through the yard up toward Densley. The sound of the retractable leash handle hitting the ground as she ran scared her and made her continue to run. We have only had her for about a month.

Break-in on Densley - Update

The Budniks confirmed that a fair number of items were stolen by the perpetrator. A digital camera, 2 video cameras, an antique Greek coin, a couple of Gameboys, and most striking, an Emmy that Tom won some years back along with another award that Julie won. So, if you hear of some kid bragging that he has an Emmy, let the cops know....

Get A Severe Weather Radio @ Kroger

I don't know if they are still available, but on Feb. 17, WSB-TV partnered with Kroger to offer severe weather radios at $20 off. I made the mistake of buying a radio today at Radio Shack for $69.99 that has the exact same features. I will be returning it and visiting Kroger.

IRS Relaxes Filing Deadlines for ALL DeKalb Residents

Due to the recent tornado and subsequent designation of DeKalb and Fulton as federal disaster relief areas, the IRS has stated that residents and business owners in those and other affected counties have until May 19 to file returns, pay taxes or estimated taxes or any other official filing due originally between March 14 and May 19. The Ga. Dept. of Revenue has done the same. There is no requirement for the taxpayer to have suffered from the storm, merely being a resident of or having a business located in the affected counties.,,id=180802,00.html

Break-in on Densley

Some time between Thursday morning (April 10) and 4pm Friday (Aparil 11), a person(s) broke into 692 Densley (Budniks) while they were out of town. The person(s) kicked in the back door to the garage and then the door into the kitchen. The police officer who responded believes that it was a kid as none of the items that were sizable but pawnable were taken(tv, pc or silverware). Instead, drawers were pulled out as if the person(s) were looking for cash, mp3 players or perhaps video games; items that could easily be stuffed into a pocket and wouldn't require pawning.
