From Commissioner Jeff Rader... DeKalb County is re-examining its current zoning code for all of the county. You are invited to attend the first in a series of three Developers' Workshops to give us your input! The update will implement the policies of the recently adopted Comprehensive Plan, the Comprehensive Transportation Plan and the Livable Center's Initiatives. A thorough review of the current zoning districts will be conducted . The re-write will also consider economic development, various housing types, urban design, transportation, overlay districts, open space issues and generally provide a more user friendly document.
