With the increase in coyote activity in our area, the Lindmoor Woods Civic Association, in partnership with the Atlanta Coyote Project will be hosting a community education session. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

We have been seeing increased coyote activity in our community. How do we coexist with our
newest neighbors? Please the Lindmoor Woods Civic Association, in partnership with the
Atlanta Coyote Project to learn about coyote behavior, and learn strategies about how to
protect yourself, your family and your pets.


Please join us for this free and informative event open to our neighbors in all surrounding
communities. Donations to help defer the costs of the event would be appreciated.
More about our speaker:
Jeremy Hooper is a graduate student/teaching assistant at the University of Tennessee,
Chattanooga, where he’s studying the relationship between humans and coyotes in the city of
Atlanta, Georgia. He has been studying coyotes since 2011, with ongoing research projects in
Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Vancouver, Canada. Additionally, he has served as an unofficial
coyote manager for the city of Chattanooga since 2011. Jeremy has been involved with red wolf
conservation efforts since 2008 and will begin assisting with gray wolf research this year.
Additionally, he has assisted with various studies on salamanders, frogs, turtles and saw-whet
owls. Jeremy’s goals are to improve relations between humans and predators through research,
education and partnerships.
