From the Medlock Area Neighborhood Association: Trick or Treat! Help us fill the food pantry at DEAM! (Decatur Emergency Assistance Ministry), a non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance for local residents to prevent homelessness and hunger. The youth group at North Decatur Presbyterian Church will be trick or treating for non-perishable items in the Medlock neighborhood this Sunday, October 28th between 7:00-8:00 PM
It will be impossible to visit every street, but if you live in and around the area of Scott Circle you will most likely get a visit!
Check your cupboards for any of these items:
·1 lb. pasta, Pasta sauce
·small boxes of Jell-o
·canned meats
·small boxes corn muffin mix
·oatmeal
·cereal
·Ivory or Dial soap
·toothpaste
·toothbrushes
·toilet tissue
·Deodorant
·powdered laundry detergent
All donations will BE WELCOMED !!
Coyotes
Please be mindful of where your pets are during the day and the night. The coyotes are HERE and have been seen in a number of areas.
Also - our song birds need protection from our pet cats - another reason to keep them inside.
