Plant Sale with 15% Discount

We have four Plant Sale days left this year and they all will have a 15% discount on your entire purchase. Plant Sales continue this Friday, October 26 and next Friday, November 2 plus this Saturday, October 27. We have also added a Plant Sale date - Wednesday, October 31. We still have ferns and plenty of other native plants and shrubs including Oakleaf Hydrangea 'Pee Wee' and a few Native Azaleas with a very good selection of perennials. We hope you have a chance to join us at our Plant Sales and Lunch and Wildflower Series (See below.).

2012 Fall Lunch and Wildflower Series and Plant Sales

Our last in this fall series is special. It's "Ask George" - Everything You Wanted to Know About Plants, But Were Afraid to Ask. Come with your native plant questions or questions on the plants in the garden. You can even bring a plant specimen for ID. Join George Sanko, Karen Lindauer, Rick Barnes and Thelma Glover this Friday, October 26. We will also have a walk in the garden starting at 11:00.

The following Friday, November 2, we will not have a talk, but we will hold a discussion on Invasives in the garden by Debbie Cosgrove starting at 11:00. Debbie will have specimens of a number of them. If you have wondered if that plant in your garden is an invasive, come November 2.

If you missed Jerry Hightower, Park Ranger for the National Park Service, last Friday talk on ”Galls”, we posted a few pictures from his very interesting talk under "What's Blooming".

Come early to enjoy the garden. Remember to see our new Sun Garden beds and our large raised bed; one of the highlights of the garden. The Fern Gardens are still displaying some of the largest ferns we have ever seen here in the garden. Links to our website are provided below.
