Fern Madness Sale

We start this fall program off with the addition of a Fern Madness Sale. We have a great selection of ferns in one gallon pots and they will all be on sale for $5.50 each. It starts this Friday, September 7 and continues through all of September on the dates planned for plant sales. While we feature Ferns, we have plenty of other native plants and shrubs including a few Native Azaleas and a good selection of perennials. We hope you have a chance to join us this Friday for our Fern Madness Sale and first Lunch and Wildflower Series talk (See below.).

2012 Fall Lunch and Wildflower Series and Plant Sales

Our 2012 Fall Lunch and Wildflower Series and Fall Plant Sales start this Friday, September 7, with Karen Lindauer and Leslie Curran who will talk on "Plant Natives and the Birds will come". Birds love many of our native plants so join Leslie Curran (seasoned birder) and Karen Lindauer (avid gardener) as they discuss creating habitat to welcome and increase bird populations in your garden. The following week we welcome David Funderburk, who will speak on "Fun With The Fundamentals of Ferns”. Dave always has a wonderful, informative talk and you can join him on facebook (link is on the website). In addition to the talks, we will also have walks starting at 11:00. Don't forget that our talks are on Fridays and will be in room SB-1140. Signs will be posted at the garden to assist you getting to the talk. Come a little early to enjoy the garden while you are here. Don't forget to see our new Sun Garden beds and our large raised bed; one of the highlights of the garden. The Granite Outcrop, which is now part of the sun beds, continues to do well also. The Outcrop is almost covered with Stone Mountain daisies. Links to our website are provided below.
