The county is purchasing a property on River Road in South DeKalb for the library system. The homeowner has several hundred koi fish in a trough in her back yard and she does not want to move them all. They range in size from 6 inches up to almost 30 inches and many have the large fins and coloration of prize koi. They are used to being fed so they would do very well in a backyard pond. You don’t need to take them all but can take a few if you have a pond. Please call Louise Buchanan at (770) 922-9392 if you are interested.
