Spring Plant Sales Continue

With Mother's Day next Sunday we are offering a Special 10% Discount on all plant purchases this coming Friday and Saturday, May 11 and 12, only. In addition, each mother will receive a free Green Cliffbrake Fern. Plant sales without the discount continue the following Friday, May 18. We still have Native Azaleas and all four varieties of Trilliums including cuneatum, flexipes, luteum and a variant sulcatum are also still available; all Trilliums are eight years old and grown from seed. This is a great time to purchase that special plant to enhance the landscape. The 10% discount applies to all plants including Native Azaleas and Trilliums. One of George's favorites is the Canada Lily (See picture above) and we have those too. We also have a great selection of other native plants available including perennials, ferns and shrubs.

Spring Lunch and Wildflower Series Continues

Our Lunch and Wildflower Series continues this week on Friday, May 11, with George Sanko. Starting at 11:00 George will tour the Garden's new sun loving plant beds. His walk will probably extend past noon so a separate talk will not be given. On Friday, May 18, we welcome John and Lamryl Atkinson, who will speak on "Native Shrubs" at noon. The walk will begin at 11:00. See link below for our entire schedule.

With the arrival of summer next month the new Sun Garden beds are showing off while our large raised bed is alive with blooms. The Granite Outcrop, which is part of the sun beds, are doing well also.
