Spring Plant Sales Continue
Plant Sales continue this Friday and next Friday and Saturday, April 27, May 4 and 5, with Native Azalea and Trillium Madness Sales. We still have some Native Azaleas available and Trilliums including cuneatum, flexipes, luteum and a variant sulcatum; all are eight years old and grown from seed. We also have a great selection of other native plants available including ferns and shrubs. Spring Lunch and Wildflower Series Continues
Our Lunch and Wildflower Series continues this week on Friday, April 27, with Karen Lindauer whose topic is "Listen to Your Mother--Mother Nature, That Is" at noon and join Karen for the walk at 11:00 to hear about experiences with plantings at the GPC Gardens as well as in her own gardens in Tucker - what worked/what didn't. On Friday, May 4, we welcome Henning von Schmeling, who will speak on "Carnivorous Plants" at noon. The walk will begin at 11:00 with George Sanko, who will explore the ferns in our World Class collection of Ferns. Note that the information on the talk on May 4 is not on the website. Special Walk - "Sex in the Garden from Mosses to Flowering Plants"
Sunday, April 29, 2:30 - 4:00pm
A Walk and Talk in the garden with George Sanko, who will explore the wonders of sex from mosses through flowering plants.
