Tour the Cofer Collection of antique cars

Event Date and Time:
02/26/2011 - 10:00am - 12:00pm

From the DeKalb History Center: Join us for curator guided tour of "The Cofer Collection" a Stable of Thoroughbreds. This collection was started in the 1950s by Gene Cofer and is considered a work in progress. The first car Gene and Neta, his wife, bought was a 1926 Buick. The Cofer's soon added a 1930 Oldsmobile and a 1928 Lincoln, and as they say, "the rest is history". The collection is still growing today thanks to his wife, children and grandchildren who all admire and love the collection and want to see it grow and stay together.
