Our Plant Sales start this Saturday, March 27, with our Azalea Madness Sale. Come shop at the largest native azalea sale in the southeast and of course plenty of other native plants. We hope you don't miss it. Some of the spring ephemerals are blooming now - Bloodroot, a favorite, Rue Anemone, Spring Beauty to name a few. Plus many of the Trilliums are up as are the Virginia Bluebells, another favorite, and both may be blooming by Saturday.
Next our Spring 2010 Lunch and Wildflowers Series starts next week, March 31. Our Lunch and Wildflower Series first presenter is Dave Funderburk, who speaks on “Native Plants for Home and Green Space Beautification” followed by Ernest Koone on "Native Azaleas". This year the talks will be held in room SF 2100 which is in the new building near Panthersville Rd. Just walk up the stairs in the lobby of the main entrance and the room is to your right. If you missed the start of the Azalea Madness Sale on Saturday, plant sales will, of course, be open on Wednesday.
