Website Help

  • To post comments on the site, please register and log in. Then you'll see a link to a Comments form appearing under each posting. Because of spammer abuse, comments are queued until reviewed by the site administrator.
  • Register by clicking the Create New Account link on the bottom left of the home page and filling in a user name and valid email address. A password will be emailed to you.
  • To become a CHCA member and support our efforts, click the Join CHCA link in the primary links at the top.
  • To receive a weekly summary "eNewsletter" via email, click the Email Updates link in the primary links at the top.
  • To receive updates via RSS feed, click the RSS icon in the lower right of the home page or paste the following url into your RSS reader: http://clairmontheights.org/rss.xml
  • Menus on the left side CHCA Library panel are expandable. Click a menu title to display items within that category. To collapse menus, click the tree logo or the CHCA title at the top of the window or the "Home" link at the top of a page.
  • CHCA-related stories, news, and event postings appear in the middle panel. They will often have a subject tag, e.g., "zoning", in the lower right corner. If you click that tag, the site will display all the postings with the same subject tag.
  • News feeds from Emory, CDC, and related sources appear on the right side panel. That panel is visible only on the home page. If you are a registered user, you can deselect any of the feeds to be displayed by clicking the "My Account" link on the left side panel and clicking edit then clicking the checkboxes in the section labelled "Block Configuration." You may also be interested in "Community Radar", a free local service that collects and organizes information by zip code and category from the AJC, community associations, and local bloggers.
  • To return to the home page, click the tree icon at the upper left.
  • Links to other web pages appear in this color.
